I love these, black upper with gum soles are just too nice, the Supra Skytop 'Wino' are based on the cheap plimsoles worn by the homeless in LA. And the Nike Blazer is a new version not a low but rather a cut off blazer high which when I first saw it wasn't my cup of tea but this colorway sets it off perfectly...

PONY although off the scene for the last few years has had a rightful return to promenence over the last 2 years with its heritage based collections and this years offerings seem to be the strongest yet. Some of the new Converse collections coming out this year really look top quality, I guess its hard to go wrong with classics like these but the John Varvatos stars and stripes are a cut above, along with some very interesting collaborations with other established labels...

Dulux 'Lets Colour Project'
Met a couple of the guys involved with this project a few weeks ago and really like the concept, they go all over the world painting walls, buildings, schools and streets bringing colour to the residents of some of the lesser fortunate areas, not only does this get rid of the grey and bring light and bright colours to often urban depressing landscapes they also get the communities involved and promote togetherness, check out their blog...
Sneaker Brogue Hybrids
Although the idea of taking elements from classic shoes and bringing them into the sneaker market is not a new idea, recently we have seen the continual influence of the new brogue explosion filtering through. Most notably on the recent Adidas Micropacer Brogue which in all honesty I wish i'd picked up myself, but don't think this is the last we've seen of these hybrid designs...
