Ai Weiwei Tate Modern Commision


As the eleventh commission in the tate modern's unilever series, chinese conceptual artist Ai Weiwei (who has also taken over the dover street market window) has filled the museum's turbine hall with millions of life-sized sunflower seed husks made out of porcelain. The hand-crafted seeds were individually formed and painted. I love how it looks and how you are encouraged to interact by walking and touching them...
