Nike Sportswear VT Premium Pack

vans-califronia-era-wingtip-wool-03

Nikes VT (Vac Tech) technology is definately pushing the boundaries of footwear design and production. This pack which contains the AM90, Dunk and also AF1 (not pictured) is dubbed the Wheat Pack given its earthy monotone colour scheme. The AM90's are often considered to be 'chav' wear here in England but more and more I have been seduced by them, this pair being the pinnacle of my fascination and im definitely considering adding these to my collection, I think the 1 colour gives you a chance to appreciate what a great looking shoe it is without having your retinas burnt by overcomplicated colorways, these are going to fly believe me...

Nike QS AC Dunk Vintage

Although one of my possibly greatest pet hates is the vintage soles that seem to be everywhere right now, god knows why we can't make them dirty by wearing them they seem to have needlessly cut out the middle man. That said I do have a soft spot for the vintage block colorways of the recent Nike Blazers and Nike have seen fit to put these to good use by merging them onto the relatively new AC Dunk Model. So get some paint stripper and get a pair of these and rock with a pure white sole, available now at Hanon...

Statue Of Liberty Nike SB Dunk Pro

Nike SB releases over the last few years have been largely dissapointing with the high quality well thought out designs of old replaced with quick production fad colorways based increasingly on poor concepts. For the most part this year it seems that SB have returned to form. The quality and design process especially on the new Koston model and the New Dunk Pro are significantly better. As for concepts; included in the next Spring drop is the Statue of Liberty Dunk obviously named for its colour scheme but more interestingly is its build. The green patina colour of the iconic statue is caused by the oxidation process of the copper construction, likewise the top layer of colour on these dissapears with wear to reveal the copper/silver colour beneath, its a brilliant idea and brings a new twist to the old question do these look better worn or box fresh, the decision is yours but damn I love these...

Nike 6.0 'Delorean Dunk'

I've enjoyed watching the rise of the Nike 6.0 series from a wayward start to really finding their feet so to speak. Although this release has a somewhat Nike SB feel to it, a tried and tested usually works. And whats not to like mixing argueabely the most well known sneaker sillouete with argueably the greastest movie car of all time, the brushed aluminium finish and light cluster inspired sole are fresh...

Haroshi x Nike Dunk

Although this colourway would be awesome this is not a real Nike Dunk, compiled from many layers of recycle skateboards from the Nike SB team and is the work of Hiroshi a Japanese artist who is famous for his 3D works made up from this material. The beauty of the piece also comes from the natural curvature of the decks which matches the natural curve of the sole...

Nike ACG Lava Dunk

Previewed in my feature at the end of September the Nike ACG Lava Dunk sees its release today. To say the Dunk is a heavyweight would be an understatement and no matter what Nike throw at this model it delivers time after time. I really like the boot-like midsole and ripstop nylon on the upper and of course the d-ring lacing system this is a seriously nice piece for the winter, available now at Foot Patrol...

Nike SB 'Loon' Dunk Low

The thing I do love about Nike SB is their continually commitment to very loud colorways. Inspired by Minnesotas state bird the 'Loon' the colorway is not only authentic but awesome, the samples caused a huge stir a few years back and no doubt these will have a similar sought after value...

Nike SB 'Magnet' Dunk

These are really nice, I like the use of so many materials in the slightly different shades against the black outsole, and the white laces set them off so well. Although they may seem bland the textures make them colourful to the eye...

Nike Sportswear Perforated Leather Pack

This pack made me all nostalgic taking me back to my younger days when I lived for the brightest white trainers, I like the fact they have used the classic AF1 together with two of the modern models in the Auto Dunk and Toki, CLEAN...
