Puma x Classic Kicks R698

Although the New York sneaker boutique Classic Kicks closed its doors last year they are still keeping their interest in the culture and with the help of Puma they have released two colorways of the R698 model. Their experience in the industry shows through with the amazing combinations of colour and materials, the teal model is my favourite with suede/leather and some 3M material thrown in for good measure. Although to be fair the second pair is also a pretty nice selection. They will both be available soon at Foot Patrol...

Thanks to Vagrant Sneaker for the Photo's by far the best pictures out there...

Puma by Hussein Chalayan 'Urban Mobility' Collection

Thanks to Highsnobiety for a preview of something special in the works at Puma for Autumn/Winter 2011. This is not the first time Hussein Chalayan has collaborated with Puma. This model takes inspiration from the dresses crafted for his last womens collection which appeared to be in motion when still. They are definately something different cant wait to see them in the flesh...

Puma Manga Pack

Puma are not been my favourite brand but after presenting their new Manga Pack that may be about to change. The pack has both the 917 Lo and Mid and the El Rey slip-on. All three have designs inspired by Japanese Manga art. I have been looking at these for a couple of hours now and I really love the concept and the designs especially the El-Rey which benifits so well from the block graphics and subtle colours, no word yet on a release but can't wait to see them in the flesh...
