The undisputed champions of travel accessories are back with their AW11 collection. Hobo have established themselves as such by continually producing some of the best quality and most varied accessories collections on the market everything from footwear and woolen hats to belts, bracelets and bags. The AW11 collection is presented brilliantly and shows no sign of the brand taking their foot off the gas, it is awakening my adventurous side...
J.Crew x Timex Andros Dive Watch
J.Crew are becoming increasingly recognised for their smart affordable basics and sharp eye for a collaboration. This their second bite of the cherry with watch maker timex brings a little gem in the Andros Dive Watch. An affordable Rolex Submariner reproduction maybe not but I think this is a great everyday watch. Just need to get a metal strap to match. Available now via J.Crew...
Levi's Commuter Jeans
With the success of bicycle based clothing brands such as Outlier it was probably inevitable to see some of the big boys getting in on the action. What is more surprising though is that the Levi's Commuter Project is so well measured. Bursting with developments to match the needs of the cycling commuter these jeans boast water and oder proofing for all conditions. Great details such as the D-Lock strap and genius 3M reflective turn ups. I am so pleased that it seems so much effort has gone into this project and that the price point is not out of this world at $80 they are pretty reasonable for all the tech involved. These should hit the UK before the end of the year to what I imagine will be a good detail of interest...
RIP Amy Winehouse 1983 - 2011
A huge loss to music no matter the circumstances of her death, the world has lost an unbelievable talent. A sad weekend...
The Windmill Club Ties
The Windmill Club is the mastermind of Kevin Burrows a havard graduate and neckwear aficionado. All the ties are handmade in New York City using only dead-stock silk which means they are not only super limited so not likely going to be worn by every other guy on the street and they are also really special and worth the little extra pennies. Each season is accompanied by a short film to showcase the range, this is SS11 and I cannot help but love these...

Nike Dunk AC Premium TZ AW11
If your starting to think a running theme of tan leather is from my recent posts, this is not a conscious decision to promote this material but more of a trend that seems to be from a whole host of brands for the upcoming months. I had no choice but to post these because I have an always will be a massive fan of the Dunk AC since its release, the don't mess with a classic mentality has no place in my agenda, I have a rather simple like it or don't like it policy. This AW11 model seems more refined than previous attempts, the outsole is pure white with no accented outline and it seems they have taken away the texturing on the toe also. With an all leather tan upper and black laces this is the cleanest looking Dunk I have seen, they are also available in black but in my opinion the tan colorway is far superior...
A.P.Carharrt Collection 2012
I remember back in 2010 when John Titou sporting an A.P.Carharrt collaborative t-shirt set the blogs into a frenzy of rumours. After the successful release of the collection it is no surprise to see their will be a folow up collection. Although they do not give away much in this small preview you can get an idea of some of the details. With a more refined dual logo on show the popular pocket tee is back along with several other staple pieces which I have no doubt will meet blend both the brands high simplicity and quality...
Adidas Originals x Bape Superstar
The release of the first Bape Superstar created one of the most sought after resale shoes on the market, wether or not you are a fan of the Superstar silhouette it is undoubtably a classic and the reemergence of one of the powerful brand combinations. Although it remains to be seen wether this is the start of a more regular collaborative effort it is nice to see them back. The simple white/blue colorway is accented by the familiar Bape camo insole and the ape logo in gold on the tongue. They will be released on August 13th at Bape locations and selected Adidas stores most notably the No.6 and No.74 concept stores in London and Berlin, expect to queue overnight for these...
Burkman Bros AW11 Illustrations
Burkman Bros have certainly gained a fair amount of momentum over the last few seasons and are starting to make their presence felt in europe. Taking a slightly different angle on a winter lookbook they enlisted the help of fashion illustrator Michael Sanderson to bring life to their AW11 Collection. It is definately a change from the norm and the collection looks like it could be a winner with their usual mixture of staple outerwear and knitwear, while also including designs with monogram patterns and a hint of camo. If the collection translates from illustration to highstreet then it should be a treat...

Dries Van Noten SS12 Footwear Collection
Dries Van Noten gives a preview of their footwear collection for Spring Summer 2012 and from the looks of the offerings it is well worth a look. The Hideout x Converse All Stars
Londons Hideout Store has collaborated with Converse on a trio of Chuck Taylor All-Stars. In simple colorways all with tan leather interiors and back detailing strip they are perfect summer casual wear. I really like the burgundy low tops they would be great with a pair of khaki shorts or chinos...
Shins and Cheeks Exhibition
This years Bright Tradeshow in Berlin will play host to 'Shins & Cheeks' a collection of portraits of skateboarders by Jo Hempel & Gunnar Nicolaus. Anyone who has ever been seriously interested in skateboarding will be well aware of the cuts/bruises and altogether damage the board can cause to the shins of the rider during the tricks that don't go according to plan. This collection completely immerses you in the relationship between the faces and shins of 96 skateboarders from all over europe. The combination of the two features brilliantly shot in revealing lighting leaves you wondering: which legs belong to which face? What do the faces belonging to the respective legs look like? As a whole the project depicts the passion as well as the passionate endurance of this sport. It presents the different characters, who all have one thing in common: their love for the board, even though it may be painful. See the collection for yourself at:
The Bright Tradeshow 7 - 9 July, Stasi Headquarters Haus18, Normannenstrasse 19, 10365, Berlin...

Nike Sportswear VT Premium Pack
Nikes VT (Vac Tech) technology is definately pushing the boundaries of footwear design and production. This pack which contains the AM90, Dunk and also AF1 (not pictured) is dubbed the Wheat Pack given its earthy monotone colour scheme. The AM90's are often considered to be 'chav' wear here in England but more and more I have been seduced by them, this pair being the pinnacle of my fascination and im definitely considering adding these to my collection, I think the 1 colour gives you a chance to appreciate what a great looking shoe it is without having your retinas burnt by overcomplicated colorways, these are going to fly believe me...
YMC AW11 Collection Lookbook
YMC (You Must Create) is a British Brand with a distinctly British style. They consistently create pieces which are simple but excellently produced in a selection of colours which can fit straight into your wardrobe and be in constant rotation season after season. This collection is no different in being eye catching yet timeless. By keeping a solid base of famous pieces along with stand out one off pieces such as the amazing camo jacket which I will be on the hunt for this Autumn they are a brand I constantly return to and should be on everyones radar as far as im concerned...
Vans Era Wingtip 'Wool Pack'
Tan leather and grey wool is a beautiful combination. The Era wingtips are a beautiful combination of smart and casual and in this two tone, two material incarnation they look amazing. Vans are hitting the high notes again, these are available in two other colorways but these are the standouts in my opinion...

Andrea Pompilio SS12 Collection
I stumbled upon this collection because the model bears a striking resemblance to one of my best friends and I am so glad I did because Andrea Pompilio is clearly a talented designer. I think this collection is first class it is brilliant to see such a variety of colours and patterns being put together in such an interesting way. It is a very casual summer collection with alot of shorts and rolled up trousers, it has given me some great inspiration for the summer wardrobe. A pair of double buckle shoes are definitely needed.
