Masterpiece SS11 Collection
Japanese luggage makers Masterpiece have a new website to showcase their SS11 collection. With a combination of variety, style and durability the collection is certainly worth a few moments of your time. Using interesting materials and colours in order to merge design with functionality, they pride themselves on the Japanese production processes of their in-house factories based in Toyoka. I have picked some of my favourite images but make sure you get over there and have a look for yourself...

Universal Products SS11 Collection
New Japanese brand Universal Products give us a look at their SS11 Collection. For a new brand it has a very polished finish. Mixing both tailoring and sports aesthetics with Japanese styling the collection looks comfortable and wearable. I love the colour blocking base for this collection with the selection of blues/greens and camo pieces thrown in for good measure I can see this brand going places...

Nike x Gyakusou SS11 Collection
The first installment of the Nike x Gyakusou collection was a huge success and it hasn't been a surprise to see the follow up Jun Takahashi collection gathering some much deserved hype. This looks like a long standing relationship between the two and expect to see more from them in the coming months/years. The SS11 collection is much more expansive than their first and includes many more pieces. The materials used again are pushing the boundaries, with fabrics that change their breathability depending on their tempurature, the collection is available now from various retailers including DSM and Foot Patrol in London...

Comme des Garcons x Pointer SS11 Collection
Comme des Garcons have once again teamed up with casual footwear experts Pointer for a two theme pack. The First is a white workwear pack of both a loafer and laced option in hard wearing white leather, very clean and fresh for the summer. Next is the more vibrant camoflage pack with the same two footwear pieces this time in a suede/nubuck camo combination. I love both sets, they are great and would be a perfect accent piece with a simple suit or casual jeans/t-shirt alike...

Freshjive SS11 Collection
Freshjive really are veterans in the business with over 20 years on the scene. Their Spring/Summer 2011 collection is what I would call essential wear, bringing a mix of street and indie style together with a brilliant selection of colours and horizontal lines. This collection proves a logo is not everything and they are still one of the powerhouse brands out their, the vests and the denim raft pants, the full collection is available to view here...

Although the man himself is not at the helm any longer the french fashion brand is still kicking out classic pieces.
