Slinkachu - Little People

This guy is a genius, I love his work. It makes me wonder about all the small things I have missed by being unobservant. Check out Slinkachu's website and blog...

Sperry Footwear 2011

Undoubtably Sperry are undisputed champions of the boatshoe, so with a navy blue wool/leather upper and brown leather laces their new offerings are a sure fire hit for this summer. But what is very interesting is the addition of their collection of brogues which in a sumptuous selection of lazy summer day tones and shining with the top quality that make their boatshoes so desirable these could quite easily become the next Sperry shoe of choice...

Retrovelo Frame Bag

This bag is brilliant, inspired by Swiss Military Frame Bags from 100 years ago, this 21st Century model is not only practical but also would look just as at home in your hand walking into a make or break business meeting. Thoroughbred style...

The Adidas Superstar...

Superstar by name Superstar by nature, the Adidas Superstar is one of if not the most recognisable silloutte in the trainer business, this season sees Adidas giving the classic a little bit of a make over with 2 crazy looking designs. First up the Porter collaboration which sports Porters famous black/orange nylon combination and a funky zip entrance, fans of their last collaboration are sure to lap this up...

Secondly the James Bond for David Beckham series brings us a Superstar cross bred with a Saddle shoe, and although I am still very much undecided on wether I love or hate this, its definately got something unique about it...

Freshjive SS11 Collection

Freshjive really are veterans in the business with over 20 years on the scene. Their Spring/Summer 2011 collection is what I would call essential wear, bringing a mix of street and indie style together with a brilliant selection of colours and horizontal lines. This collection proves a logo is not everything and they are still one of the powerhouse brands out their, the vests and the denim raft pants, the full collection is available to view here...

Red or Dead...

The colours of Autumn are back and not in a subtle way for 2011, everyone from Burberry to Raf Simons has been splashing out on bright reds and oranges for Autumn/Winter 2011. Show your love for some these colours and they will show it back in style. Check out some of my favourite looks below...

Onitsuka Tiger Brogues

The tendency for sports brands to diversify into sartorial styling is becoming ever more popular these days. The key though is to actually be able to pull it off. I think not straying too far from your comfort zone is paramount and apart from the unnecessary heel branding on these brogues Onitsuka Tiger might have just done it. I'm really interested to see how these will be received, I like them a lot especially the green colorway they are nice and subtle...

Kris Van Assche x Eastpak

Eastpak have been around the block, they are literally indestructable I still have one I wore in school knocking around. In recent years their collaborations with high profile designers such as Christopher Shannon have pushed them back to the top of the pile and this up and coming collection with minimalist machine Kris Van Assche looks like another sure fire winner. The quality looks outstanding. There are multiple pieces including a backpack which is my stand out piece and im hoping it also comes out in the ash black color...

Asics Gel Lyte III x Zillion Laces

Zillion laces have made quite a name for themselves since arrving on the scene in 2009 with their unique laces made from recycled kimonos. Now put their design know-how into an up and coming fresh colorway for argueably the biggest sneaker of 2010 the Asics Gel Lyte III, looking good...

Junya Watanabe AW11 Mens Collection

Awesome as always Junya Watanabe presents his AW11 collection. This collection is executed with typically brilliance. As usual the fairisle patterns are prominent and paired with an awesome mix of tailored and outdoors pieces. The colourscheme for the collection is perfect for Autumn/Winter, a really nice selection...

Air Jordan 1 Retro??

The Air Jordan 1 has had a torrid time of late, with a plethora of horrible colorways churned out on mass. Even the arrival of the AJKO last year was to me a very poorly thought out release and the quality was similar. The rumours are rife that this year will see the release of the original Air Jordan 1 Colorway in its original materials. Here's hoping it gets the time and effort it deserves...

Steven Alan x Nike Sporstwear Collection

I'll have to file this collection under unexpected, although Steven Alan has made a name for himself in the mens clothing world over the last couple of years a collaboration with Nike is an amazing change of pace. Not only is collection fairly extensive with 4 models (Air Zoom Magma, Air Zoom Toki, Talache Low and Air Zoom Lava Dome) involved. This is a very different from direction for Nike and may signal things to come this year. I think the collection is brilliant, blending clasic models with very simple modern colorways and materials, they are all available now...

New Balance 'Made In England' 1500's

Although I could not make it to the Bread and Butter trade show this January much to my dismay, there has been plenty of coverage of the new collections. This set of New Balance 1500's are due for release in 2011 and not look great but are 'Made in England' nice to see the Flimby factory getting the credit they deserve...

Woolrich Woolen Mills AW11 Mens Collection

Mark McNairy is without a doubt one of my favourite designers right now, and with him at the helm Woolrich Wollen Mills introduce his first collection of Autumn/Winter 2011, and as far as im concerned it is just as good as I had hoped. Mark decided to look back into Woolrichs heritage and chose both its military and prep school roots for inspiration, I really like the results, keep up the good work...
