Robert Montgomery @ KK Outlet

RMKKoutlet-1

I have been a fan of the artist Robert Montgomery's work for a while now so I was really excited to be walking past the KK Outlet yesterday and see him helping to position his art work on the facade of the building in what I have to say were a pretty fresh pair of pale grey Nike Air Max 1 'Safaris'. I took a sneak peak at the unfinished 'It Turned Out This Way Cos You Dreamed It This Way' exhibition which opens on Thursday night an runs till the 25th. If you get a chance please go down and check it out along with finding his 3 billboards on Old Street, they are very thought provoking and look great in the urban environment...

Object Abuse at KK Outlet

KKobjectabuse

I find myself constantly thinking about what could be done with everyday objects other than their original function. It seems im not alone in this thought as the KK Outlet in London starting today are hosting 'Object Abuse' an exhibition to challenge a group of leading artists, designers and stylists to take an everyday object, remould, rebuild and repurpose it to create an entirely new item using as little additional materials as possible. Here is a taster of the event but to get a real taste get down to KK Outlet: 42 Hoxton Square | London | N1 6PB | United Kingdom The Exhibition runs till the 25 September, and all items on show will be for sale with proceeds going to charity...
