After last years 'Skippys' Sneaker Freaker keep up their strong collaboration work with the 'Alvin Purple' their take on the Asics Gel Lyte III, although I dont think they reach the dizzie heights of the Ronnie Fieg versions these are solid and give me a reason to post issue 13's awesome 3-D cover...

Although this lookbook does these trainers absolutely no justice these really are top quality in everyway, Kangaroo leather toe box, off white midsole and those crazy bright yellow accents make these probably in my top 3 releases this year. December the 5th will be a good day, and hope to see these on sale in my webstore soon...

Sneaker Freaker Issue 16 dropped through my letterbox this morning (Special Gold Ltd Edition)... The cover features the new Sneaker Freaker x New Balance collaboration dubbed the Skippy 850. Other highlights include Meastro of Maestro Knows Fame showing his favourite trainers, a huge section on the history of the Reebok Pump and as usual the new releases section.
